We've been talking a lot about tech cites lately. Forbes Magazine looks at the top ten up-and-coming tech cities. Some interesting choices on the list. What do you think? What are the chances of this happening?

I was surprised at the list. Not necessarily the cities that I would think of when thinking of technology. I was particularly surprised by Milwaukee and that they could be on this list and have manufacturing be their main industry. I think that Houston might have more potential than the other cities because it seems there is more diversity in their companies. The other cities have one or two large labs or institutes. Therefore the cities economy would be more affected if one was to go under.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Liz, I am surprised too. This list is based upon few factors for a place to grow as tech city.I think there a are many other factors that would affect the development of tech cities.
