  1. Thanks, these links are quite interesting interesting sections. The before and after pictures for home renovations are pretty neat.

  2. Interesting. The principles of marketing class is taking part in a service learning project where they are partnering with Park Street Market.

  3. A part of KNHS’s mission is to educate community members on financial services. Knowing that there is an outside, non-profit, source people can go to is a huge relieve. As Olefson mentioned in several cases, some lenders and originators do not tell their clients the whole truth about their products. Also, the website mentions KNHS has foreclosure consultants available if your home is foreclosed. In Foreclosure Nation several alternatives to foreclosure were discussed that the average person would not know about. With KNHS’s help people dealing with foreclosures can be guided with their options without having to hire a lawyer they can’t afford.

  4. While looking at the North Side neighborhood site I saw an article about Park Street Market which says that the owners are going to hire 40% of their workforce from the neighborhood. I pass Park Street Market whenever I go home and ever since it's been open I've thought how nice it was to finally have a nice, not just party store-esque grocery store in the area. It's even better that the owners are really trying to work with the community.
